Founded in 2012, Onyx Equity Management is a Sao Paulo based asset manager. We manage the Onyx Latin America Equity Fund, LP for a small group of sophisticated institutions who share our philosophy of making long-term investments with patience, a research-intensive process and a value-investing approach. We invest mainly in high quality Latin American companies that are competitive, profitable and able to compound capital at high rates, while trading at a discount to their intrinsic value.

Our team is very experienced in the region and passionate about making long-term investments with an ownership mindset. We see our investors as Partners and have a significant focus on the alignment of interest between them and ourselves.

Our Fund is currently closed to outside investors and we do not actively solicit or market to prospective investors. We do not have a vehicle available for Brazilian investors.
